East Walnut Street is home base. Walnut Smog & Repair is a STAR Certified smog station and complete auto repair shop serving all of Pasadena.
Walnut Smog & Repair is in Pasadena, at 1323 E Walnut St, inside the Harry's Glass Shop building and just off the 210 Freeway. Whether you live near Caltech, in Bungalow Heaven, around Lake Avenue or out toward Hastings Ranch, we're a short drive away.
We're a STAR Certified station, so we handle DMV renewal smog checks, including notices that require a STAR station, change-of-ownership certificates and out-of-state registrations. If your car fails, we do the smog repair and the retest here. Beyond smog, we handle check engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension, engine repair, oil changes and more.
Our Google reviews tell the story. One driver has brought his 1996 Toyota truck in "about every two years" for its smog check. Another has taken "all of my family's car to Art for years." A third came in with a parts-store printout blaming his oxygen sensor, and Arthur found a disconnected hose in under a minute. Honest, friendly and knowledgeable is the standard.
We're open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM. Call (626) 449-6252 or stop by 1323 E Walnut St #2.
